What we collect

When a parent registers, we collect the parent's name, email, phone number and mailing address, an optional second parent's email, and each son's name, grade, school and birthday, plus how you heard about us, your reminder choices and any comments. When boys join the live Zoom, Zoom tells us the name each device joined with and when, which is how attendance is counted. Our website also counts visits anonymously (which pages are viewed, the kind of device, the country and the site that sent you), with no cookies and nothing that identifies you or your son.

Anyone may open a free Mishna Library account to watch past lessons. For those accounts we collect a name, email address, city and how you heard about us, and we keep which lessons you watched and how far you got. We email Library members new lessons and news, and every email has a link to unsubscribe.

How we use it

Who sees it

Rabbi Elisha Freedman and the services that run the program on our behalf: Google (our records and email), Zoom (the live shiur), Vercel (our website), MailerLite (program emails) and Twilio (text messages). They use the information only to provide those services to us.

We do not sell or rent your information. Mobile numbers and text-message consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Children

Information about the boys is given to us by their parents when they register. We use it only to run the program.

Your choices

You can stop texts by replying STOP, stop program emails with the unsubscribe link, or ask us to update or remove your family's information by emailing info@amishnaanight.com.
